We originally made this short as part of the 3×5 film competition for the Lee Strasberg Institute. Because of various scheduling conflicts, we found ourselves in the position of needing to film and edit the video within 48 hours. Undeterred, we were up for the challenge. Having such a tight turnaround forced us to become fully immersed in the storyline — one in which the protagonist slowly submits to his own madness. Maybe a bit of madness was exactly what our film needed, because the result is a 3 minute short my small crew and I are incredibly proud of. We won the ‘Best of Competition’, as well as, ‘Best Directing’ at the competition and my hope is that this film’s journey doesn’t end here.
